Abstract

Culex (Melanoconion) keenani Galindo and Mendez is synonymized with Culex (Melanoconion) educator Dyar and Knab, and Culex (Melanoconion) vaxus Dyar is resurrected from synonymy with Culex (Melanoconion) educator. Both species are redescribed and illustrated. Data about distribution and bionomics are discussed.
