This paper extends the study of side-effects of temephos and chlorpyrifos on Gammarus fasciatus in a simple laboratory stream. An exploration is made of the significance of the presence or absence of food in the stream on the behavior of the organism. The effects of starvation for 48, 72, and 96 hr on the organisms migratory responses in the presence or absence of the insecticides is also reported.
