This field book contains field notes on birds taken from 30 January to 15 August 1963. Notes contain lists of various birds spotted in Virginia. Most of the birds listed were probably observed at or near Eike's home on 2231 North Tuckahoe Street, Falls Church. Eike also lists birds observed during his trip to Lexington (presumably Lexington, Va) for the Virginia Society of Ornithology. Other locations may be included. Notes occasionally include weather and temperature information, quantity, time spotted, and the sex of the birds.
