This field book contains field notes on birds taken from 16 August 1963 to 17 February 1964. Notes contain lists of various birds spotted in Virginia. Most of the birds listed were probably observed at or near Eike's home on 2231 North Tuckahoe Street, Falls Church. Eike also notes birds that were observed during day trips to Wachapreague, Lynchburg, and Virginia Beach. Other locations may be included. Notes occasionally include weather and temperature information, quantity, time spotted, and the sex of the birds.
