This field book contains field notes on birds taken from 25 February to 6 June 1962. Notes contain lists of various birds spotted in Virginia. Most of the birds listed were probably observed at or near Eike's home on 2231 North Tuckahoe Street, Falls Church. Birds observed during a Virginia Society of Ornithology trip to Burke Lake on 24 March are also included. Other locations may be included. Notes occasionally include weather and temperature information, quantity, time spotted, and the sex of the birds.
