This field book contains field notes on birds taken from 4 March to 25 May 1969. Notes contain lists of various birds spotted in Virginia. Most of the birds listed were observed at Eike's home on 6207 Newman Road, Fairfax or in the surrounding area. Birds observed on a day trip to Windsburg for the annual Virginia Society of Ornithology meeting are also included. Other locations may be included. Notes often include weather and temperature information, quantity, sometimes time spotted, and the sex of the birds. Includes news clippings.
