This field book contains field notes on birds taken from 15 April to 28 October 1967. Notes contain lists of various birds spotted in Virginia. Most of the birds listed were observed at Eike's home on 2231 North Tuckahoe Street, Falls Church or in the surrounding area. Birds observed in Richmond during an annual meeting of the Virginia Society of Ornithology is also included. Other locations may be included. Notes occasionally include weather and temperature information, quantity, time spotted, and the sex of the birds. Eike also notes trapping and releasing of squirrels.
