This field book contains field notes on birds taken from 28 May to 9 October 1959. Notes contain lists of various birds spotted in Virginia. Most birds listed were observed at Eike's North Tuckahoe street residence in Falls Church. Other locations may be included. Notes occasionally include weather and temperature information, quantity, time spotted, and the sex of the birds. Also includes 2 brief, personal notes from Eikes and his wife dated 1960 to their daughter.
