Coastal specimens of new species collected from Laguna Beach, Pacific Grove, and Crescent City, Calif., and from Yaquina Head, Ore.; the established genus Thalassarachna is also discussed.

"Anomalohalacarus is known only from the North Atlantic at presnt, ranging from the English Channel into the North Sea and the Baltic, and from North Carolina to New Brunswick, but probably extends farther north"--P. 22.
