Illustrations have been cut out and pasted into the register. There are some loose illustrations towards the back of the volume.

Hand-drawn and coloured illustrations to scale of apples, apricots, oranges, plums, peaches, pears and potatoes. The volume is a register of specimens studied from life, created by the Industrial and Technological Museum circa 1870 to 1890, and relating to that institution's fruit and vegetable wax model collection, now held in the State Collections at Museums Victoria. The are accompanied by information such as dates, place names, and persons' names, including donors.
