This field book documents Percy Wilson's botanical collecting in Honduras in 1903. Location name is written as Puerto Sierra in the notebook, and as Puerta Sierra in the Mertz Library's database of field books. It is near Tela in the Atlántida department. The book is comprised of a list of specimens numbered 627-708, and is a continuation of Field notes Vol. 27. Date range is Mar. 3-8, 1903. The initial specimen entries from the field are on the right-side pages of the notebook, and are usually very general, i.e. "tree", "vine", "fungus", sometimes noting plant family or genus. The specimen numbers are repeated on the left-side pages with genus and species as identified later. Field entries include a description of the plant and location. Only the first 25 pages of the notebook are used, the rest of the pages are blank.
