Field notes Vol. 181 documents Nathaniel Lord Britton's botanical collecting in Jamaica in 1909 on a New York Botanical Garden expedition, with Elizabeth Gertrude Knight Britton and Marshall Avery Howe. It is comprised of a list of specimen numbers 3879-4215, collected February 27-March 13, 1909 in Jamaica. The notebook includes dates and locations, and entries have very brief descriptive information on the plant and/or habitat. Most entries do not have the full plant name. The last page has a list of expedition expenses.
