This field book contains multiple lists of specimens seen or collected at San Clemente Island and San Diego Bay. The first is a list of birds, mammals, insects, and reptiles seen 26-27 August 1894 at San Clemente. The second is "record of alcoholics from San Clemente Island (221-226). Third includes narrative entries and a list from 3-12 September of birds observed at San Diego Bay (in the company of Mr. Anthony). Next are separate lists of the trees, mammals, and birds of San Clemente Island (birds seen as early as 22 August. A separate sheet (separate from bound book) lists birds collected on San Clemente Island, 23-28 August.
