Notes

Correspondence from Auguste Trécul to John Torrey, undated (1848). A short note in French, difficult to read because of multiple ink stains. Notes in Torrey's hand at the top and bottom of the page read "[soiled by my monkey when he escaped from his cage in my study!] J.T." and "Rec'd May 11th, 1848. Mr. Trécul visited Princeton May 12th, & 13th."

In English.
