The copied, typed journal documents Alexander Wetmore's participation in the Tanager Expedition, 1923, while working for the U.S. Department Agriculture (USDA), Bureau of Biological Survey. The expedition was conducted with the cooperation of the U.S. Navy, Bernice Pauahi Bishop Museum, and USDA.
