Notes
Riparian management is not a funded program within the Bureau of Land Management (BLM). It is an initiative, a management concept which courses through all resource specialties and is funded within individual resource programs. Nevertheless, with continued strong national emphasis on riparian management, BLM's efforts in Wyoming have increased backing and active encouragement from Washington. This guide is a synopsis of where we are and where we are headed in managing BLM's riparian habitats in Wyoming. Includes projected expenditures for conservation projects in riparian areas for FY 1989 through FY 1994.
