Notes

Itinerary of the expedition's movements between March 16, 1856 and September 9, 1856, including latitude and longitude. Localities include islands off the coast of modern day Taiwan, the Ryukyu Islands (Loo Choo), the east coast of Honshu, and Hakodate (Hakodadi), Japan, the Kamchatka Peninsula, Magadan Oblast, Taui Bay, and the Shantar Islands, Russia. Thought to belong to Charles Wright's assistant, James Small, as dates do not correspond with Wright's account during this period.
