Field notes document the work of James Lynch in Quinana Roo, Mexico during January 23 to March 2, 1984. Entries are dated, headed with location information or route, and most are narrative in style. They describe travel details, routs traveled, times of day and work completed, habitat observed, types of birds (common name) seen, lists of insect samples collected organized by location identifier. Also includes hand drawn maps and at the end of the notebook is a list of bird species observed during the trip.
