Notes
This field book contains notes from Kleiman's trip to Brazil from 15-27 March 1990. These notes document field research on black lion tamarins (blt) in the Morro do Diabo State Park. Kleiman provides a mostly narrative account of focals, observations, and playback studies. Many notes on the calls of blts. Notes on meetings and discussions with colleagues are also included. A note on the cover summarizing notebook content provides the following additional information. "Long encounters between Poco Pequeno and Cacador. Testing user of PBs for census with cassana females Lucia and Vanessa. Following Aristedes group: how many LCs before encounter? First visit to UniÜo : PB but no response. Staff on strike -- 1990 fire and $."
