Notes
An essay (seems to be unpublished) in which Doris Cochran summarizes some of the natural history observations and collections she made. Cochran says the purpose of the trip was to bring back a "large slice of the fauna and flora of southeaster Brazil". Cochran notes collecting toads, frogs, lizards, plants, fish, and insects, providing scientific names and description of some species. Localities include but are not limited to Rio de Janeiro, Lagoa Secca, Ouro Preto, and Alto da Serra.
