"The species Amphisbaena angustifrons Cope is reappraised on the basis of new specimens from southern South America. Amphisbaena plumbea Gray is treated as a race of angustifrons because of the occurrence of specimens from La Pampa, Argentina, intermediate in character pattern"--P. [1].
