This photograph album of Mary Agnes Chase consists of 462 black-and-white photographs, as well as some photographic reproductions that have been clipped from magazines or books. The photographs depict landscapes, cities and scenes, industry, vegetation, and people. Some photographs depict Chases' longtime colleague Albert Spear Hitchcock as well as Kellogg. The photographs are affixed onto paper and most include handwritten or typewritten subject or geographic captions. Locations include but are not limited to: Alaska; Michigan; Mexico; Arizona; Panama; Nicaragua; Guatemala; Honduras; Costa Rica; Trinidad; Yellowstone National Park; and Texas. The photographs are of varying size from very small to over 5 inches by 7 inches. Only the dates 1898 and 1903 are indicated, the majority of photographs do not have a date indicated. Corresponding numbers, possibly photograph or collector numbers, are written next to some photographs, but are not in order.
