Mary Barnaš Pomeroy describes her journey from escaping Nazi Germany to live in Ecuador where she developed her artistic skills creating paintings of various flora and then pursuing a botanical illustration career in the United States. Includes many images of original artwork by Mary Pomeroy and Carl Barnaš. Also includes Pomeroy's short story "An Indian boy meets Mount Pichincha's flowers".
