This field book describes the observation of animal tracks and the collection of specimens by Bailey through Pennsylvania, Nebraska, South Dakota, Wyoming, and Montana from late December 1893 through late August 1894. The notebook is comprised of lists of mammalian, ornithological and botanical scientific names organized by date and place name. The back of the notebook contains a list of addresses.
