Quarto-sized edition, sometimes also referred to as the "Library edition."
Issued in 5 dark gray linen portfolio volumes with linen ties.
Each volume contains half-title and title leaves, table of contents (description of plates), and 80 loose plates of color-printed illustrations.

"This [Library] edition was printed by the same special process, from the same plates, and on the same kind of all-rag paper as the De Luxe edition, but with less margin on the sheets, which measure 9 1/4 x 12 1/4. The Library edition is bound in substantial linen-covered portfolios, stamped in gold"--P. [2] of Prospectus.
The illustrations, many dated 1925, are reproductions of watercolor drawings by the author.
Also issued in a folio-sized limited, numbered edition with title pages dated 1925.
Volume 1 contains plates numbered 1-77, 24a, 31a, and 56a (for a total of 80 plates); v. 2 contains plates 81-160; v. 3 contains plates 161-240; v. 4 contains plates 241-320; and v. 5 contains plates 321-400.
An index to all plates is included in v. 5.
