"A new species of swift, Cypseloides lemosi, is described from the foothills of southwestern Colombia, department of Cauca, characterized by a conspicuous white pectoral patch and forked tail, without stiffened rectrices. 2. Additional information is provided as to the characters and distribution of Cypseloides cryptus Zimmer, with first published records from Colombia and Honduras. 3. Generic relationships between Cypseloides and its allies are discussed"--P. 15.
