It incorporates the coats of arms of the brothers Johann Casimir and Johann Ernst, princes of Saxony, to whom the work is dedicated. The XCVIII full-page plates depict various bits. Ornamental Gothic initials, head- and tail-pieces composed of printer's ornaments.
