This item is a loose leaf logbook comprised of worksheets for plankton analyses for Vema cruise. The worksheets record the following information, although not all fields are consistently populated with data: cruise, station, date, net in, net out, position, equipment, depth tow, type tow, M³ H20 filtered, displacement vol., Chaetognatha (species, #c, %s, #/10³M³, total chaets # supp.), and total zooplankton (group, #c, %s, #/10³M³, rank). Also included are notes on plankton observation procedures, maps of Vema 10 LOC stations and Vema 10 plankton sample stations, some Vema 10 notes and plankton analysis (perhaps misfiled), graphs, and a handwritten document entitled "recalculation of vol. H20 filtered and depth of tow" dated 9/27/56.
