Notes

Several sets of Heller's loose notes. The first set (a field guide?) consist pages containing the name of a species under which a list of collections or references of that species are recorded. Sex, age, date, locality, and collector are included in each listing. Sometimes page numbers are listed, indicated these are at least partially research notes. The next set are notes on birds captured during the Mount Kenia (currently Kirinyaga) trip, Smithsonian African Expedition. 210 specimens are listed by scientific or common name. Some specimens have sex, age, and a number (collector number?) listed with them. This set of notes is followed by a list (15506 to 15603) of bird collected from 29 March to 15 April 1909 in Egypt. Miscellaneous notes follow, as well as, "birds collected at Aden, April 15, 1909", birds collected on Mt. Kenia [sic], summary of collections, and eggs of lesser bustard.
