91 leaves of hand-drawn, hand-coloured entomological illustrations, drawn from mainly specimens collected in and around Trolle-Ljungby and Arup, in Sweden. Leaves 1-33 feature coleoptera; leaves 34-40 orthoptera and hemiptera; leaves 41-91 lepidoptera. All three sections have their own hand-lettered title page, specifying date of execution and location.

Index follows illustrations.

Author's presentation inscription to daughter (?) on front endpaper (dated 1873).
