Field notes Vol. 666 documents Michael Nee's botanical collecting in 1973-1974 in Panama. During this time period Nee was living in Wisconsin, where he received his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin in 1979. The notebook contains a list of specimen numbers 8681-11152, collected December 10, 1973-April 11, 1974. The list contains collection location and date, herbarium distribution of specimens, many entries have very detailed descriptions of plant and habitat, and many have herbarium determination. This is Collection Book 11 in Nee's numbering. The original field notebooks for these specimens are located in Field notes Vol. 653.
