This folder contains various undated correspondence regarding Mearns's military activities in the Philippines and localities and itinerary information of collecting trips. A letter by Hutchinson describes a trip to "Kalagan River". Another letter discusses the Mount Malindang trip. Other correspondents include Van Allen, and Wood. Although the letters are undated, the date is probably between 1903 and 1907, the dates of Mearns's activities in the Philippines.
