The notebook documents field notes that contribute to the research of Russell Greenberg in cooperation with E. S. Morton. Entries begin with a narrative of observations of birds behavior from May 4 - August 20, 1981. Throughout the notebook there are sketches of bird movements. Data includes: date, time, description of the habitat, notes about bird movement, type, sex and measurements of birds, net information. Some notes include plant and insect information.
