The notebook documents the field work of Javier Salgado Ortiz in Chiapas, Mexico, during January 13 to February 4, 1993. The volume covers his work as part of the "Proyecto Aves Migratorias Manchones de Vegetacion, Secundaria Area Selva Lacandona." Begins with narrative style entries describing travel details, type of work completed.
