The notebook documents Edward Preble's trip to British Columbia in 1913. Notes are undated; if entries are titled they include the common name of animal discussed. Notes detail observations on squirrels, sheep, caribou, moose, wolves, and other mammals seen in the area. Describes locations wildlife were sighted and locations where killed. Sometimes the notes include the names of individuals who observed. In the back of the notebook is a list of photographs taken. Locations include the vicinity of Selkirk Mountains, Babine Lake, Bear Lake, and Kispiox.
