"To those who have secured my large Colorado collection of 1878 these plants will provide valuable additions. The 150 additional species of this year will bring the whole Colorado list up to 1100 species. To these I now add over 500 species of Utah plants ... The Utah plants are put up in sets of 400 species, and the additional Colorado plants in sets of about 100 species"--At head of title of first fascicle.
