In this ROD the BLM adopts and approves the immediate implementation of Alternative B - Integrated Pest Managment (IPM) with Environmental Protection emphasis at Horning Seed Orchard, based on the June 2005 Final EIS for IPM. Alternative B was the proposed action and BLM's preferred alternative in the Draft and Final EIS'. Alternative B would give the seed orchard access to a full range of pest managment methods, including biological contrals, chemical pesticides, prescribed fire, cultural control methods, and other methods.
