This field book contains paleontological and geological field notes taken in New Mexico to Texas from 15 March to 25 April 1964. Cooper describes stratigraphy of each location visited and notes the fossils found at each level. He also includes descriptions of the shale. Brachiopoda and other fossil specimens are noted.
