This volume is a collection record of bird specimens collected on the Pacific Ocean from August 1963 to December 1965. Fields include field number, species, sex, time, location, date, gonads, weight, fat condition, ectoparasites and blood, catalog number, and remarks. Field numbers span from 0341 to 0500, 0601 to 0700, and 0801 to 1704. Species include Sterna fuscata [Onychoprion fuscatus], Puffinus pacificus, Phaethon rubricauda, Sula spp., and others. Collections were made in an area of the Pacific Ocean bounded approximately by 14∞ S to 25∞ N and 149∞ to 177∞ W. The remarks field includes information such as notes on location of soft part, molt, and other data recorded elsewhere, band number, immature, etc. The catalog number field indicates that collections were made by several collectors; they are identified only by initials, including CAE, JPT, PWW, RLD, RLM, and others.
