This item consists of a folder of data collected at sea by Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program staff, 1965, on Southern Island Cruise 8. Materials include: bird observation sheets (At Sea Daily Log E), at sea daily observations summary, and climatological data sheets. Bird observation sheets include time, species, #, dir., hgt., remarks, and loc. Remarks include physical descriptions of birds (colors, size, maturity), flock size, and behavior (sitting on water, feeding, etc.).
