The notebook documents the field work of Anna Kozlenko during Mirkovskaya field trip where she took part in the bird watch unit, 1991-1993. The notebook refers to VIII-IK #739490, and begins with the observations at the mouth of the river Varlamovka. Entries vary in content and structure. Some are narrative in style, others are lists of observation data. Entries include information about dates, location, time, type, sex, characteristics, measurements about birds. Some entries include detailed personal observations, contact information, budget calculations, information about field trip routes, area vegetation, and points of observation. Half of the entries is provided in Russian, and the other half is written in English. Occasional parallel translation of phrases from English into Russian can be seen throughout the notebook. Main locations appear to be in the Yenisey river region.
