Correspondence from Egbert S. Barrows to John Torrey, dated November 13, 1834. On the advice of his friend Bradford Alden, Barrows writes that he is sending Torrey a box of plants from Florida, which should arrive in three or four weeks. He offers to send further shipments and apologizes for the quality of the paper used and his own moderate botanical knowledge.
